Learning Exchange helps CCS develop Financial and Strategic Plans
Through a Learning Exchange sponsored by the MIC Network, Willy Kostka (Director, Conservation Society of Pohnpei) and Bill Raynor (Director, The Nature Conservancy Micronesia Program) traveled to the FSM state of Chuuk February 26-29 with TNC Coda Fellow Robb Johnson to facilitate a strategic planning session for the newly established Chuuk Conservation Society (CCS). CCS is the first conservation organization in Chuuk, the most populous state of the Federation and MIC members played an active role in starting the organization. With the help of Bill, Robb and Willy, CCS has now developed an Integrated Financial and Strategic Plan for the year 2006 and 2007 that the Board of Directors has already approved.
